This year’s conference takes place Oct. 10-13 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes Resort and Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. On Monday, Oct. 10, Amos Deacon III, president of Phoenix International, will deliver a morning presentation titled, “Survival of the Fittest,” Deploying the Meanest, Toughest Storage for the Battlefield and Beyond. The company has more than 18 years of experience designing ruggedized COTS storage systems, and currently supports a number of high profile military aerospace and defense programs, including the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (JSTARS) and the Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) programs.Mr. Deacon’s presentation will cover key storage considerations and challenges in addressing the unique requirements of the military aerospace sector, and how, leveraging Commercial Off the Shelf components, the company is arming its military customers with rugged storage systems that are scalable, flexible, and fault-tolerant.
